One cannot go to Prague and not see the Prague Castle. Likewise, one cannot miss Wenceslas Square, site of the 1989 "Velvet Revolution," the 1968 Soviet Invasion and current commercial center in the heart of Prague. A long wide street lined with elegant hotels and shops it is dominated, at the top, by the National Museum. Restaurants and shops alike are crammed with tourists and Czechs, all dining out, shopping and enjoying the flourishing center.

All three metro lines run from Wenceslas Square as do a variety of trams, making it possible to whisk anywhere in the city in a matter of minutes. But Prague is best viewed on foot, and Wenceslas Square is mere minutes from Old Town Square´s famous Astrological clock and the beautiful ancient Charles Bridge, spanning the Vltava River. Whatever your preference is, it is easy to reach from the Wenceslas Square.

This particular rental apartment is on a 3rd floor of a 19th century building with a modern elevator on a quiet one-way street, just three minutes walking from Wenceslas Square. The building and its interiors went recently through a thorough renovation. The apartment itself was very recently completely redesigned and refurbished by an Italian owner and designer. Carefully chosen antique furniture pieces combined with tasteful colors gives the place a very warm and charming feel. Being on the 3rd floor with large windows in every room also means lots of light and direct sunlight during the day. High ceilings lend the rooms added space and parquet flooring throughout the flat combined with the tall carved doors in white gives the apartment almost a castle-like atmosphere.

The two bedrooms have each one large double bed. There is an extra bed in the larger one. Two other guests can sleep in the spacious living room. There are two bathrooms with two showers which becomes very convenient when there is a larger family, two couples or a group of friends. Fully equipped modern kitchen is the smallest room but it gives you all what you need to cook a good dinner if one day you get tired of trying yet another chic downtown restaurant.
