Karoliny Svetle is Apartment in Prague’s second apartment accommodation in the oldest section of Prague’s Stare Mesto. This Prague apartment is located in a 17th century building on the second floor. Located on the upper corner of the building, the huge windows in this Prague apartment offer an outstanding view of the ancient Rotunda church. The neighborhood is also fantastic, located just one block from the Vltava River and also less than one block from the famous Betlemske Namesti Cathedral. At night the neighborhood seems almost magical, especially when the gas lamps are lit.

Conveniently, this Prague Accommodation is only a five-minute stroll to to Prague´s Charles Bridge and then into the heart of Mala Strana. It’s also less than five minutes to Old Town Square, the heart of Stare Mesto. The embankment offers one of the most amazing views in the world, especially at night, so if you fancy a romantic walk before bed, it’s a quick stroll up to the river to enjoy the view. Should you choose to stay in this Prague apartment, you won´t be disappointed with either the apartment or its location.

This Prague apartment is located on the second floor, so after you enter the building you have to walk up a couple of flights to get into the apartment. The twisty wooden steps are widely spaced though in the fashion of many old buildings throughout Prague.

The front door to this Prague accommodation leads you into the entrance foyer where you can hang your coat and hat. Off the foyer is the huge bathroom and the toilet. Turn left and you enter the living room/kitchen area where you can make yourself a meal, hang around or simply head off to bed after a hard day’s touring. Immediately off to the left is the master bedroom.

The apartment has been done up in a modernist style. We chose to not lay down a lot of carpets so you could appreciate the hardwood floors. The bedrooms, off of the kitchen are lovely and light. Each bedroom has a large double bed and of course night tables, night table lamps and closets or drawers for hanging your things.

The kitchen if fully equipped with everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible. A ceramic hob, microwave oven, plenty of plates, silverware, pots and pans, toaster a coffee maker round out the kitchen’s amenities. And of course there’s a table with four chairs so you can enjoy a breakfast or dinner, if you choose to cook at home.

The bathroom features a a large tub and a shower corner. The water comes from a gas heater, so you’ll never have to worry about running out. On the other hand make sure someone isn’t doing dishes while you’re showering or you may end up being scalded. Additionally there is a washing machine in the bathroom so if you’ve been on vacation for some time you can stop for a minute and take some time to wash your clothes.

As in all of our apartments, linens, towels, heating and electricity are included in your rental payment.

The neighborhood around the apartment is great, one of the nicest in Prague. There are plenty of good restaurants and bars and more are being added all the time. It´s simple to get out and grab a really good bite to eat and enjoy some of Prague´s excellent concerts and nightlife.
