The level of assistance I received went above and beyond anything I expected...

When traveling abroad, sometimes things just don’t turn out as expected: sometimes they turn out better. I received late notification about a chance to travel to the Czech Republic for research. I had to very quickly find a place to live in Prague along the appropriate rental documentation for the visa application. I don’t think I would have been able to make all the necessary arrangements if I hadn’t had the good fortune of finding Ivo Lorenc and Johanka at Apartments in Prague through a recommendation. Not only are the accommodations in centrally located, historic neighborhoods convenient to public transportation, but also AIP offers a level of service that unlike any other landlord in my experience. From the first correspondence, my emails were answered promptly and courteously. The AIP website was easy to navigate and included detailed descriptions, as well as a variety of photos of each unit. After I made my choice, the contract was quickly provided as a digital file while I was still in the U.S., and as a hard copy after my arrival. Everything was delivered as promised, from the condition of the beautifully furnished apartment to the financial terms contracted for a short-term rental.

However, the level of assistance I received went above and beyond anything I expected, which is why I have described it as a concierge service to friends and colleagues. As a woman traveling alone with luggage, including several pieces of specialized high tech equipment, I especially appreciated the availability of an AIP staff member, who met me after my arrival in Prague, drove me to my new accommodations, and made sure I had everything I required. I did not have to take my chances with a stranger driving a taxi. In addition to suggesting a charming apartment in a location that is extremely safe, Ivo Lorenc and his assistant Johanka provided a local cell phone with the unit and kindly invited me to call them with my questions, which helped to assuage any fears I had about being a foreigner without a “safety net.”

They continued to provide aid by suggesting a certified translator for official documents required for a visa application, assisting me with purchasing a month-long transportation pass when the website was only in Czech, and offering unerring suggestions for where to buy groceries and find the best neighborhood restaurants, specialty shops, and sights off the beaten track. Due to their apt suggestions and the completeness of the furnishings, I was able to settle in very quickly. Though they are experienced in providing these types of services to clients from all over the world, I was still made to feel special. They responded to each of my requests graciously, while charging reasonable prices considering the high caliber of personal service I received. After staying for a month in AIP accommodations in Prague, I found the AIP staff to be professional, caring, and extremely conscientious. I can recommend Apartments in Prague without hesitation to anyone planning to spend time in this sublimely beautiful city. And I am confident that Mr. Lorenc and his staff will make you feel welcome— they don’t know any other way.

We had a lovely stay this past September at the two apartments we rented for five nights Vlasska 2 and 3 in the Mala Strana district.

It definitely beats a hotel, the kitchen was well equipped, the apartment was clean and comfortable.

A lot more room than a hotel and at reasonable nightly rate.

I would definitely stay here again.

The apartments are in an older building, however the apartments have been remodeled.

We were close to city transportation, tram and metro. We could walk to restaurants and city attractions and the Charles Bridge.

We were in a central location two blocks from the U.S. Embassy, a very safe area.

Ivo was very responsive to our E mails.

Our Concierge Johanka met us at our apartment, provided all the information we needed to get acclimated to the area and spent time answering our questions, she also arranged parking for our car.

You do not need a car in Prague, city transportation is easy and efficient.

When we departed this apartment my wife forgot a necklace at the apartment, it was mailed to our home and waiting for us when we returned. Thank you Johanka for your assistance.
